BACKROADS
The famous Moonville Tunnel.  Last summer mom and I went swimming at the deep swimmin' hole in front of Moonville and some forestry ranger told us we couldn't swim, so we of course walked to the next trestle and proceeded to swim there.
One of the many trestles that cross the beautiful, blue, 99 mile long, Raccoon Creek. I heard they are going to turn the railroad into a bike path, which is a good thing, except now more people will know where the tunnel is. Hopefully it won't lead to more vandalism.
Everyday we passed by the "fantasy farmer's" house. And everyday there was either cows or chickens out in the road. On this particular day it was several cows dropping road apples as they walked. Ledgend has it, once Batey decided to speed up when he saw a chicken, and it flew up on his windshield and an egg popped out!
This picture is too far away to tell, but the man on the horse has a hand painted cowboy hat and boot on.
I wonder who did that????
