SCENIC VINTON COUNTY
McArthur, "Ohio's Vacation Land". That might be a bit of a stretch, but it is the most beautiful place on Earth in my opinion. We used to drive into McArthur to get groceries at Super Value, rent movies, and get pizza on payday. And you can't forget Krazy Katie's and the Hotel McArthur.   McArthur had one red light and one flashing light. The only other traffic light in Vinton County was a flashing light in Hamden. Another thing Vinton County was famous for; there's no shopping, you can't even buy a pair of shoes there.
A forgotten church house on some couty road off of Wheelabout Road. This one still had pews inside.
I always loved this Octagon shaped barn off of St.Rt. 56 near Orland.
Freshly baled hay field on St. Rt. 93, just North of McArthur, with rolling hills in the background.
Sunset, an old barn, wildflowers, and a farmer crossing sign on some county road near New Plymouth.
