ACADEMY

The final day of academy I got my new uniforms and a certificate from Sally Prouty. None of my classmates were stationed at Zaleski except the guy seated next to Glenn. I don't remeber his name, but I believe he went on to later steal Jason Love's gun and use it in a robbery.

I don't have any idea who this guy is with Glenn, but I love this picture anyway. It's a classic example of the type of people who joined the corps. It looks a little like a mug shot and both of their expressions are hilarious!

Standing around in the morning before Roll Call, to find out where we were going for the day. There was always at least two dogs that lived at the camp. At one point there were several puppies. One puppy crawled in this corpsmember's bag for a nap. The white dog was George, I know he still lived up there for years after I left the camp.
